Policies

Welcome to Jessica Leigh Esthetics.  I am so grateful that you have chosen me to work on your skin care goals or any other beauty needs you’re seeking.  I hold myself to high standards of cleanliness, top of the line services, and I truly love the time we create together.  Which is why by scheduling an appointment, you are agreeing to my Policies as set forth below:



Booking

I encourage everyone to go to my online schedule to view available services and appointment times. Please keep in mind that I run a small business, by myself.  I do not have a receptionist, and there are many outlets available to you to message me with questions and concerns.  I do my best to respond to your request in a timely manor.  If you feel your message has been neglected I ask for you to reach out to me again, possibly on a different platform. Should you need to cancel an appointment I ask you to only call or text 402-525-1479..

Please keep in mind I do ask for a card on file for any services to be scheduled. This card will simply hold your reservation and will not be used, unless one of the following cancellation, late arrival, or no call no show policies has been broken.


Late Arrival

I try and run an efficient treatment room and to be on time for all my clients.  I understand you selected that reservation time, and I will be honoring that time.  Which is why it is also just as important that you take traffic, drive time, and possibilities into consideration when choosing your appointment time.  If you’re running late, please call/text so I do not worry.  When a client is running late my brain begins to wonder something terrible may have happened to you.  If I do not hear from you within 15 minutes of your reserved appointment time, you will be considered a No Show.  If you manage to arrive late, but still within the 15 minute window, I will do the best to my ability to provide the service.  Please note the time will be shortened to accommodate my guests to come, and you will be charged for all services that we originally had scheduled.  Thank you for respecting and valuing our time together and my other clients, as I do for you. 


Confirmations & Reminders

Your service and appointment reservation is my top priory.  This time has specifically been reserved just for you, which is why I appreciate you honoring your appointment.  I understand that somedays we wake up with a plan, but life happens and our schedules need to be altered.  I do require 24 hour notice for you to cancel/reschedule your appointment at no charge.  

This is why when you schedule an appointment with me in the treatment room or online, you will get an email/text confirmation.  I also have notifications set for you to get a reminder one week prior to your appointment, and 48 hours prior to your appointment.  I have this set in place for us both to avoid the no show no calls, and last minute cancellations.  So please, when scheduling an appointment with me I recommenced taking some of these steps to avoid the financial penalties you’re responsible for:

  1. Double check you received the appointment confirmation email with your phone calendar or schedule to determine any discrepancies.

  2. When you receive the reminder at 1 week and 48 hours, cross check your schedule ensuring your appointment time will still work.  Review your health, if you have been feeling off or under the weather, postpone the appointment for a later time.  This keeps myself safe and healthy, and you rested.  

  3. Make sure you allow for my emails to find their way out of the junk or spam folder.  I try not to blast you with emails, unless there is a change in policies or its specifically related to your appointment.  

  4. If you feel like you’re not seeing text reminders and emails, please notify me directly after the appointment is booked or accepted, to avoid any confusion as your appointment arrives.


Cancellation Policy

The service you scheduled is reserved especially for you. I respect your time and ask that you value my spas scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so by giving a 48 hour notice in advance. Repeated or excessive cancellations will result in loosing access to online booking and possible all future appointments. Jessica Leigh Esthetics reserves the right to refuse services. Any cancellations within 24 hours of their service(s) are subject to a cancellation fee, amounting 50% of the scheduled service(s). Should you have a same day cancellation, no call no show- this will unfortunately result in 100% charge of the services we reserved time for you that day. The card kept on file will be used to complete the cancellation fee. When you miss an appointment I not only lose out on your business, but the possibility of another clients service. Thank you for seeing the value in our relationship and for respecting my time/business.


Return Policy

I continue to push myself with proper education, continuously reviewing materials to better myself as an esthetician and provider.  I take pride in my work and knowledge which is why I am so thankful you have contacted me about product or services.  A majority of the products we use in the treatment room are available for you to purchase, to continue the great care you just received in the comfort of your own home.  I encourage you to try a sample, or to review any concerns you have prior to your purchase.  Jessica Leigh Esthetics does not accept returns for services rendered, gift card purchase, and product purchased.  All sales are final with the exception in the event your product purchase is defective, I will exchange any product within 7 days of purchase.


Gift Certificates

What a better way to show someone you love, the gift of a treatment.  All gift cards purchased from Jessica Leigh Esthetics website or in the treatment room will be honored for one year from purchase date.  Your gift card is a dollar amount, and not for any one specific service.  In the case of price increase has changed with services please be prepared to pay the remaining amount with cash, check, or card- American express is not accepted.  You will need to bring the gift certificate with you to your service, or other forms of payment will need to be made.

i encourage you to schedule your service or purchase your products sooner rather than later with your gift certificate.  My schedule does tend to fill up in advance, which is why I encourage and ask you to message me directly.  This way we both will avoid the last minute scramble to book, in which you may need to use your gift certificate for product or a different service than you envisioned.  Regardless I know you’ll love which ever way you decide to you your certificate. I do my best to make all situations work and I appreciate your consideration that I am a small business, individual provider and that is why you’re given a full year to reach out and schedule your service in a timely manner.  

Update: As of November 2019, Jessica Leigh Esthetics has decided to remove the purchase of gift certificates from the treatment room and online.  This decision has not come lightly, and I know many of you will be disappointed.  As a small business owner I evaluate ways for me to better assist my current and future clients.  I believe this to be the better outcome for my business moving forward. Thank you for your interest in supporting my business and wanting to treat a loved one.  If you wish to still support my business, I am more than happy to hand select some wonderful skincare and beauty products for those you are treating.
